Seismic Acquisition

Geokinetics actively researches and implements emerging technologies with conventional 2D, 3D and, in reservoir monitoring applications, repeatable 4D surveys.  Geokinetics can acquire land, shallow marine and transition zone seismic data utilizing single component, dual sensor, 3C or 4C multi-component technologies with fixed axis or fully gimbled sensors.

As a part of ‘value added’ services, Geokinetics can offer reconnaissance services that include shallow hazard mapping, shallow streamer, bathymetric surveys, side scan sonar, marine magnetics and marine gravity as well as survey design and environmental impact studies.

In addition to selectively adopting technologies that lead to greater operational efficiency and profitability, Geokinetics has a program of targeted recruitment, training and retention of its best technical and managerial staff.  It is recognized that the competence and commitment of Geokinetics staff is another major advantage of the company.

The company is totally committed to quality, health, safety and the environment. Leadership and commitment, management training, implementation and monitoring and employee involvement are a continuous activity.
